Born on September 21st 1973, JC was raised in a family where music played a very important role. He was influenced at a very young age by his musical surroundings. At 10 years old , he discovered his love for the guitar.
At the age of 15, he began working with horses. Throughout this time he realized his passion for American Country Music. From that moment on he was inspired by such country greats as Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, George Strait, Hank Williams, Clint Black, Alabama and many more. These country legends inspired him to work diligently so that he may achieve his biggest dream: become a country music performer.
By the time he turned 24, many opportunities were accessible to him in the country music industry. The possibilities to succeed were great! He devoted all his efforts to refining his style and voice, relentlessly striving towards the future
His career became a reality when at age of 25, he began performing in Quebec. At the end of his performances, the audience applauded him as a true country star. Proud and confident, he brought his talent to the music capital of the world ''Nashville''. Following his first performance the audience and critics unanimously declared him a star.
His first recording session in 2001 became an instant success with the music fans of Quebec. His self produced album called ''Deeper in Love'' was named english album of the year in 2002. During the same year, JC received the entertainer of the year award, and his song ''Mexican Vacation'' was named song of the year.
In 2004 JC gave 8 performances in France, among them, he was acclaimed with a standing ovation by 25,000 screaming fans in Mirande. Being number one all summer on music box 92,8 FM Paris, his tremendous success during this European tour opened doors for over 35 performances in France ,Switzerland and Belgium .
Since 2005, JC has been performing over 75 shows in different Canadian casinos.
In 2006, JC was honored in France at the ‘’Paris Country Festival’’ for being Top Canadian Country Artist. Quebec also honored him with the ‘’Merite Country Award’’ for being top country singer of the year.
In 2007 JC appeared in many TV shows in Quebec and across Canada (ARTV) .
JC’s biggest achievement in 2007 was to be part of the opening act for the legendary Kenny Rogers at the world famous ‘’St-Tite International Country Festival’’
JC's personality, physical appearance, and self determination are attributes that will make his dream become a reality. There are no limits to where his music will take him.
